- Develop a complete information and interaction design.
- This is an interactive and iterative process and the end-result
is a working prototype of the deliverables, ready for testing and
refinement.
- Assist in technology procurement, vendor identification and SLA
definitions.
Build
- Agree, finalize and freeze solutions design.
- Build the final product, and integrate with existing applications/systems.
- Test the builds in the "Test" and "QA" environments
to ensure that the functionality and design match the scope and client
requirements.
- Complete the build at "Production" environment.
- Perform load, security, fail-over, endurance testing.
Support
- Post launch monitoring of the solution and performance measurements
vis-à-vis specifications / objectives setout in the "Clarify"
stage.
- Complete documentation such as design docs, run book, escalation
policies etc
- Assist tech ops staff (if applicable) in the day-to-day operations
of the solution.
- Plan and conduct transition, conduct training sessions.
Operate
- Operate the technical infrastructure of the developed solutions.
- Staff and manage the tech ops organisation.
- Maintain the technology operations "Thermometer".
- Manage production applications and infrastructure, provides focus
when there is a breakdown.
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware and networks to ensure
uptimes.
